Description
These encaustic tiles have been reclaimed from the hall of a mansion near Brussels (Belgium) and date from before 1914. The colors: blue, green, grey and white give the floor a rather cool look. The pattern is both geometrical and floral. The floor has a double border and was manufactured by Société générale de produits réfractaires et céramiques de morialmé. The floor has an antique and rich patina. Some tiles have edge nibbles or groutable chips.
