These ceramic encaustic floor tiles date from the 1920’s and have been reclaimed from a Bourgeois house in the center of Ghent (Belgium). The floor tiles were produced by the Belgian company PCSR Saint-Remy from 1918 onwards. The false mosaic design was popular before world war one and again often used in the 1920-1930. The strong geometric motif and warm and colorful palette will bring character to every room.
