Description
These ceramic encaustic floor tiles date from the 1920’s and have been reclaimed from a Bourgeois house in the center of Ghent (Belgium). The floor tiles were produced by the Belgian company Welkenraedt. False mosaic designs were popular before world war one and again often used in the 1920-1930. The strong vegetative motif will bring character to almost every room.
