Description
These ceramic encaustic floor tiles date from 1920 and have been reclaimed from a fine house in the center of Ghent (Belgium). The floor tiles were produced by the Belgian company produits céramiques de Saint-Ghislain. The false mosaic design was popular before world war one and again often used in the 1920-1930. The floral motif and cool palette will bring character to almost every room.
