Detailed patterned floor tiles with flower motif (pré 1910) and matching borders

Description

These antique ceramic encaustic floor tiles have been reclaimed from a monastery in Namen (Belgium). The tiles were made and stamped more than a century ago by Gilliot Frères. The four tile flower motif is elegant in design and the different colors blue, grey, green, burned red and white give the floor a rather warm look. These beautiful floor tiles have a strong geometric pattern that can be laid in different ways. Some tiles show edge nibbles but this can be expected from a floor of more than 100 years old.
