Description
This beautiful floor with thistle pattern has been reclaimed from a mayor’s residence near Luik. The vegetal theme of thistle and cornflowers was used regularly throughout the Art-Nouveau period. Most tile producers added thistle themed tiles to their trade catalog. This floor has been made and stamped by the Belgian company Moiralmé. Some tiles have edge nibbles.
