Description
These encaustic tiles have been reclaimed from a Bourgeois house in Antwerp that was built in 1912. The tiles were produced by the Belgian company Maufroid Frères & Soeur. In de photo library is a picture enclosed of the product catalogue of Maufroid (1905).
Possible applications:
These tiles are extremely durable and practical. They are suitable for hot areas like oven surroundings and fire places. They are also ideal for wet areas like outside showers, swimming pools or splash backs.
