mySTILES, with its registered office located at Boksheide 1 – 9255 Buggenhout – Belgium undertakes to respect and carefully observe the European privacy legislation AVG (General Data Protection Regulation)¹ on the protection of personal data. These regulations apply as of 25 May 2018. Personal data will be handled in accordance with this legislation.
mySTILES only processes personal data to comply with a legal obligation or if it was provided for the performance of a contract. By doing so, you expressly authorise mySTILES to process your personal data for the intended purposes. Personal data is only processed in secure environments and systems. These are not accessible to the public. All our employees are also given clear guidelines and made aware of how they handle and process your personal data.
mySTILES guarantees that :
your personal data is only collected and processed in order to carry out your requested task or to comply with legal services;
your personal details are only processed in a country belonging to the European Union;
the processing of your personal data is limited to the intended purpose;
your personal data will only be kept for the duration of the provision of services, unless a longer statutory retention period is required;
your personal data may only be passed on to other organisations, in order to comply with legal obligations, or at the explicit request of the judicial authorities or police services;
In no other case will your personal data be passed on to third parties, nor will they be used for direct marketing purposes;
Your rights as a data subject
You have at all times the (legal) right to consult your personal data.
You have the (legal) right to complete or correct your personal data in full or in part. If mySTILES has no legal grounds for further processing your data, or if your data is no longer necessary for the intended service provision, then you have the right to have your personal data deleted.
Questions about the processing of personal details
Questions regarding the processing of your personal data or requests regarding the data that we process for you can be addressed to the manager. This can be done by mail to mySTILES, Boksheide 1 – 9255 Buggenhout – Belgium, or by sending an e-mail to info@mystiles.be. We undertake to answer your question or request within 20 working days.
If you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully, you can always contact the CBPL (Commission for the Protection of Privacy) also known as the Privacy Commission, via the e-mail address commission@privacycommission.be.
