The floor was salvaged from a maison de maître in a small village near Brussels. The border tiles can be installed individually or paired back-to-back to create a striking double border. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The beautiful tiles were reclaimed from a bourgeois house in Antwerp and were produced before 1910 by Guillot Hemixem. The floor still breathes the spirit of Art Nouveau, with its organic shapes and flowing curves that are so typical of the style. The matching border tiles can be laid in a single row, or doubled for a more striking effect. The floor has a ritch patina and some tiles show edge nibbles but this can be expected from a floor of more than 100 years old.</p>
