These beautiful Art Nouveau tiles feature a refined dotted star motif in soft shades of pink and green. They originate from an elegant maison de maître near Ath and are accompanied by a matching double border that frames the whole beautifully.

Manufactured and stamped by the Belgian company Amay in the early 20th century, this reclaimed floor shows a rich, authentic patina.

The pattern also appears in the original Amay catalogue, a reference of which is included in the photo library, highlighting its authenticity and historical value.

]]> This floor was reclaimed from an elegant house near Brussels and was produced during the interwar period by the Belgian company Welkenraedt. The pattern is created by the repetition of a single tile, resulting in a design that immediately draws the eye. Subtle variations in color and thickness are present, which are characteristic of the period and result from fluctuations in firing time and kiln temperature during production. Some tiles show minor edge nibbles, which is normal and expected for tiles of this age.

The floor still breathes the spirit of Art Nouveau, with its organic shapes and flowing curves that are so typical of the style. The matching border tiles can be laid in a single row, or doubled for a more striking effect. The floor has a ritch patina and some tiles show edge nibbles but this can be expected from a floor of more than 100 years old.

The connecting cabochons (insirts) display a gold flower pattern.  Some tiles have edge nibbles but this can be expected from a floor of more than 100 years old.
