Reclaimed ceramic floor with flower pattern and matching double borders.

Description

This unique “faux” mosaic themed ceramic floor with flower motif and beautiful matching double borders has been lifted from a mansion near Kortrijk. The floor dates between 1920 and 1930 and has been made by the Belgian company Welkenraedt. The floor shows an antique patina and some tiles show edge nibbels.

The same tiles are used in the “La Fontaine refter” from the  Ursulineninstituut in Onze Lieve vrouw Waver (see photo library).
