Description
These floor tiles have been reclaimed from a vicarage near Antwerp and were produced by the Belgian company Maufroid frères & soeur between 1879 and 1912. In the photo gallery is a picture enclosed of these tiles in the trade catalogue of 1905.
The color palette with sky blue and white would make this floor quite suitable for a swimming pool or a bathroom. Due to its elegant symmetric design the floor would brighten up almost every room. Some tiles show groutable chips or edge nibbles, but this is what one could expect from a floor of 109 years old.
