Belgian ceramic floor pré 1912

Description

This encaustic Belgian floor has been reclaimed from a bourgeois house in Antwerp. The tiles were stamped and made by Carrelages Céramiques de Chimay, Maufroid Fères & Soeur (Belgium). Today the floor shows a soft but rich patina with quite a few edge nibbles. This can be expected from floor of more than 100 years old. If you are looking for a floor with a rich patina, this floor should be considered. This floor can easlily be combined with plane border tiles.
