Belgian ceramic floor ca 1912

This encaustic Belgian floor has been reclaimed from a Bourgeois house in Brussels. The tiles were stamped and made by Carrelages Céramiques de Chimay, Maufroid Freres & Soeur (Belgium). Today the floor shows a soft patina and quite a few edge nibbes. This floor can easlily be combined with a plane tile border.
