Description
These pattern floor tiles have been reclaimed in a Bourgeois house near Ghent. The border tiles can be laid in duplicate (back to back) or as a single tile. The field tiles and borders tiles can be traced back to the trade catalog of Maufroid of 1909. The tiles show elegant lines, curves and organic shapes that are so typical for the Art-Nouveau design.
Possible applications:
These ceramic tiles can be used as a decorative and practical splash back or in an inside or outside shower. It is also quite easy to combine them with plane tiles. Or they can be laid as a stone carpet framed in a larger area of parquet or cast floor.
