This floor has been reclaimed from a fine house in Maubeuge (France) and has been produced by Boch frères around 1900. The field tile design with flower motif is a remake of an earlier tile dating from the 19th century, also produced by Boch. The main difference is the tile size. In the earlier days the tiles were produced on 17,5 cm. These floor tiles messure: 14,8 x 14,8. The field tiles are framed by two borders, A half size border with geometric pattern and a full size border tile with flower theme. The floor has an antique and rich patina. Some tiles have edge nibbles or groutable chips, but this can be expected by a floor of more than 100 years old.
