Description
This beautiful thistle themed floor has been reclaimed from a Bourgeois house near Brussels in Belgium. The vegetal theme of thistle and cornflowers is used regularly throughout the Art-Nouveau period.
The centrum pattern is formed by 4 field tiles. De floor itself is framed by its original borders.
The floor was made by the Belgian company Welkenraedt.
In the photo library is a picture included of the winter garden of The Ursuline institute (Belgium). This winter garden has been considered as a trough Art- Nouveau Gem. The floor is identical to this one, even produced by the same company.
